photovisuals fine art photography

Buyers and photographers demand prints of the highest available quality and, after seeking advice from other photographers, the print-on-demand service provided by Fotomoto was selected to satisfy this need. Fotomoto is partnered with premium professional photo labs, and prints may be securely ordered — using encrypted connections — directly from this website:

Fine Art Prints. PhotoVisuals provide museum-quality Fine Art Giclée Prints using archival ink in eight colours for exceptionally high quality and a wide colour spectrum.

Print Sizes. As the aspect ratio of images does not meet the set sizing (height and width) of paper manufacturers, prints are offered with heights of 16" and 20". Fotomoto's shopping cart displays the print sizes which match your chosen image (these sizes include ¾" borders for ease of subsequent mounting & framing).

Print Papers. There is a choice of three papers available: Smooth, Textured and Photo. This is best explained within Fotomoto's shopping cart, at their (lower) Learn More link.

Pricing. The price of Fine Art Prints is $249 for 16" and $295 for 20" (Fotomoto's shopping cart shows equivalent currencies).

Secure Payments, S&H, Taxes, etc. Using encrypted connections, this is securely handled by Fotomoto.

Delivery. Depending on your order, this can vary. It may be less, but please allow approximately seven business days from the date of placing your order.

Additionally:

Free eCards. When you open an image in the Gallery, you will see that there is an eCard link. Opening this gives you the option of sending that image (with your own personalised greeting) as an e-mail to friends and business associates.

Greeting Cards. Separate from Fotomoto (and sending eCards from here) 5" x 7" greeting cards are available from FAA. The inside of these cards may be customised with your own message and can be purchased as single cards, or in a box of ten (for a saving of 37.5% per card).

Web versus Print. The digital images you see on this website are not the same as prints. When you view an image here, you see it in transmitted light and when you view a print, it is seen in reflected light. Although being unable to guarantee a 'match' (assuming you are using a correctly balanced monitor) you will discover that the finished print exceeds its web image.

FYI Framing. This is a huge area which PhotoVisuals does not handle. Please bear in mind our prints are for display, and (if you choose) matting & framing can greatly add to the overall finished size. All artwork requires a good 'viewing distance' and for this we advise, "three times the width of the print". There are disagreements here, but you should be able to take in the full print without having to turn your head from left to right. Applying a '3x' factor means that a print should be viewed at a distance no closer than either 9 feet (for a 20" print) and 7.5 feet (for a 16" print) although . . . we have been told we are wrong.
